Gailine Narissa Baptiste

Just like a breath of fragrance Just like the rising sun, You graced our lives not once, As your life our hearts had won: But another blessing'd come: Jabez became our son. Forty-one years and counting, We sought the House of God We sit here now recounting The path our feet would trod. We give God thanks for sharing Both of you to our caring. But God who sees things clearly Saw your eyes were getting dim, He knew you'd gotten weary, And He wanted you with Him. So who are we to question how Your lives with us He did allow. Jabez will lean on Jesus As He was taught to do He knows he can rely on us But God will see Him through. We're trusting God to keep him, As you would want us to. So though we'll miss you sorely, We'll see you one day soon, We'll sing His praises daily, From morning until noon. We'll join that glad reunion, With God in sweet communion. Nan-C June 12, 2022
